After several days of playing around with my DiddyBorg and trying out all the great software and the web interface that PiBorg supply I decided that I wanted something bigger – having been inspired by the monster robot (tank) that PiBorg created called the DoodleBorg
This morning I received my DiddyBorg Metal Edition kit and promptly got to work putting it together and taking it out for a test run – what a fantastic piece of kit!!!
This blog is to show the progress of the building of my Raspberry Pi powered robot
I have always wanted to build a robot and the versatility and ability of the Raspberry Pi seemed a great way for me to achieve this
I have done lots of research over the last few months, looking at all the different options available for chassis, controllers, motors etc and I was very impressed with the products from PiBorg, especially the DiddyBorg robot kit
I spoke to Tim the owner of PiBorg who was extremely helpful and told me that he was going to create a limited edition metal version of the DiddyBorg – as soon as this product was released I very quickly placed an order!!
